During the last several years I've found several websites which provide excellent advice to the air traveler. One of them is Seat Guru.
I've found their charts to be quite accurate and their advice to be precise. The site is constantly updated with new carriers and new configurations. Lately an "In Flight Ameneties" box has been added to each configuration. Look at it the next time you're trying to get a better seat, particularly in coach.
